Humility Is Not About Lowering Your Worth
Learned an interesting thing about humility in church on Sunday.
Humilty is not about lowering your worth in comparison with others – it’s about raising another’s worth above your own. This does not mean that you have placed yourself lower than the other person, rather that you have raised them above you and given them a higher value.
This raises the question: What kind of world would we be living in if we all practised humility as described above?
